I spent so long humming “something’s coming. I don’t know. What it is. But it is. Gonna be great.” This isn’t a metaphor. I was waiting for my big break for so long I was exhausted.
The ruby slippers were on my damn feet the whole time, but I didn’t know how to use them. What’s worse, I was sure I DID know how to use them and that’s what was messing me up!

Not a day goes by when someone doesn’t ask me how I created my life and my business. My friend and coach Brooke Castillo said to me the other day: You lost 100 lbs and kept it off – that puts you in the top 1%. You started a small business that made $1,000,000 within 2 years, that puts you in the top 1%. But to do both — at the same time — that’s some serious peak performance.
The thing is though, you can’t build a 7-figure business or lose 100 lbs without a lot of other things changing too. I also moved into a 16,000 square foot Castle with 8 bedrooms, an indoor pool and a glass elevator for instance. And I started wearing Chanel and Fendi clothes. And I started flying first class.
With all of the changes in my life in the last 5 or 6 years, I guess it’s not a surprise people want to know the secret of how to go from a 315lb, cranky Marketing VP to a svelte, 7-figure powerhouse. It’s not exactly something I can teach in a 1 hour webinar. And the truth is, I didn’t want to offer a traditional coaching package or program. My schedule is already over booked and plus, I know this stuff needs to be learned by modeling and practicing. This isn’t about getting more information. This is more like learning a musical instrument or a foreign language. To learn it permanently inside and out, you need a full immersion.

I have spent 25 years learning and training with world-class coaches, all over the world. I have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in my own learning. What’s more I have published over 250 books by the world’s personal growth luminaries so I know just about everything that’s out there and a lot of cutting edge stuff that’s just about to be released to the universe. I will share all of it with my apprentice.

For the longest time I didn’t have a website, a product name, a business name that made any sense, advertising, business cards, or an email list. I used all free tools and gmail addresses until I’d made well over $200,000. You can do this without anything complex.
Remarkable people hear about what I do; they experience what I do; and they speak about it to their friends and colleagues. Then those people call me.
In fact In 2017 I will take 8 full weeks of vacation and never work on Fridays and I recommend you actually plan to work even LESS than I do!
My clients are primarily by referral and invitation. To get you there you are going to have to provide kick-ass results. Components of the Your Apprenticeship:
- ENVISION YOUR SUCCESS:
- What is the personal transformation you will go through this year that will blow your own mind?
- What is the Business you could build that would represent your highest and greatest work?
- CREATE YOUR ACTION PLAN
- Create Do-Goals. These are step-by-step and day-by-day actions you need to take to reach your goals.
- REWIRE YOUR BRAIN
- You have to learn to let go of your limiting expectations and beliefs and to choose beliefs that really serve you. We are going to issue an all out assault on the thoughts that are holding you back. It is time to let go of childish things.
- DEFINE YOUR AREA OF MASTERY
- Cut the bullshit. Are you the best in the world at what you do? Because if not, we are going to get you there as priority #1. You will promise your clients results and get them those results (just like I do with my clients). Then the next time you make a promise you can get them a result, they will beg you to take their money and recommend all their friends.
- MANAGE YOUR ENERGY
- None of this works if you have the wrong energy. I’ll teach you all the systems but you MUST have a life filled ONLY with the people, places, and things that raise your energy vibe and make you feel happiest. If you are no happy you won’t get the right clients, you won’t get those clients the right results and you will have a business and a life you don’t love.
Your Practice.
Part of this apprenticeship is that you will be creating a thriving business where you have all the clients and revenue you want but where you have developed a body of undisputable evidence you are making the difference you were born to make. You will make a ton of money in the process, but I don’t even care about that. That is just the by product of building the muscles required to create money and clients whenever you choose, from now and forevermore.
Our Agreement will run for 18 months— We will meet as LITTLE as we need to for you experience an extreme and profound transformation that leads to you making a measurable difference in the world and being on track to a 7-figure business. This isn’t about how much TIME we spend together (though believe me, we will spend lots of time together), it’s about the shocking transformation we are going to create together.

You’ll fly first class to The Author Castle on my dime and you’ll stay in one of the Author Suites. While you are here, we’ll clarify your vision, deepest desires and impossible goals. We’ll zero in on any obstacles that might be stopping you or slowing you down and begin the process of identifying what makes YOU feel Fully Alive. I’m going to let you in on a secret, as my apprentice I will NEVER not be coaching you. From your first payment to our goodbye celebration (which I’m thinking we do in Paris but I’ll let you make that call) I will coach you every step of the way. you will have access to my private email address, my cell phone number, and a calendar link. If you are off course, you reach out, any time, day or night. You will have my cell phone number and private email address and I will be there for you whenever you need me. - Check in Calls
Just about every week, we will have a weekly check in call to review where you are in your plan, identify obstacles, discuss progress, and hold you 100% accountable to your vision. On these calls we will be doing personal transformation work and we will also review what’s happening with your clients and how you can be a better coach. - Required Reading Curriculum
- It should come as no surprise I am very very into books. Most of the books I will require you read will also be available in audio book but you will be assigned at least one book a month — probably more. It will be extremely specific to your personal transformation and business building challenges and… get this… THERE WILL BE A TEST ON EACH BOOK YOU READ! I know it’s nuts but I need to know you are reading and absorbing the contents so we can move forward and I don’t have to keep teaching the same concepts over and over again. Remember at the end of these 18 months you are going to be a different person and that person will have read a LOT of powerful books.

- Self-Coaching
Journaling is a huge part of growth. You won’t like this, but I’ll be asking you to keep a journal every day and as part of that there will be a weekly report due once a week before our check in call. This is how we are going to keep you accountable to those goals from your VIP day. - Special access to ALL of my events and Intensives
As my Apprentice you will have full access—as my special guest—at every Intensive, book launch, and mastermind event I run during the course of your Apprenticeship. - Library of Resources
You’ll have passwords to all of our backend systems. If I have recorded a training in the past 5 years you’ll have a copy and the opportunity to ask me any question you want about anything, any time.
- Self-Coaching
This is just SOME of what the apprenticeship includes. The truth is I’m going to give you whatever you need to get the goals you want. If you want to write and publish with us, I’ll include that if it’s what you need. If you need to be in my mentorship or my mastermind group, I’ll include that if it’s what you need. You will leave it in my hands to tell you what you need to get the result you want. I promise not to make busy work for you and to get you there as quickly as possible.
This is a custom-made Apprenticeship, but here’s what I can tell you for sure:
- You are going to make more money than you ever have before. Probably more than in the last 5 years combined.
- You are going to hate me and second guess your choice and want to quit at least once (probably once a month). It’s okay, I won’t let you.
- You are going to look better and feel better than you have ever felt and it is going to FREAK YOU OUT.
- You are most likely going to move into a new house and get a new car. Both will be WAY more expensive than you think is possible especially after this investment. Start looking into what you like now. Shit is going to happen FAST.
- You are going to have NEW PROBLEMS you hate just as much as the problems you have today. Problems like – ‘Should I go on Ellen or Oprah on Tuesday?’ They sound delightful problems now, but when you get there, they are going to be just as painful as the problems you have today. That’s why we HAVE to learn how to deal with these problems now so we’ll know how to deal with the Oprah v. Ellen dilemma with grace later.
- You are going to want my approval and hate me for wanting my approval and have all the feels about me. It’s all good. FYI, I’m not here to be your friend and I am a master of boundaries. I will hold space for you to create what you really want—not what you ‘say’ you want. I am here to serve you, not to please you. (Did I mention you were going to hate me?)
My spiritual teacher, Marianne Williamson, says this one best: “We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.”
Most people live a life where they never fully let their light shine. They never know what it feels like to give someone else permission to do the same.
Not my clients.
Don’t do this for yourself.
Don’t do it for the hot shoes or the first class flights or the full time chef or driver you will have in a few months.
Don’t do it because you want to get your debts paid off.
Don’t do it because you want to move into a bigger house.
Don’t do it because you can’t figure out how else to cover private school tuition.
You’ll get all that stuff, but if it’s for the wrong reasons, it will feel like total shit anyway.
Do it because you have no option any more but to make the difference you were born to make.
Do it because you know the higher you rise and the brighter you shine, the further you will lift up the planet and that is what you are being called to do.
Do it because you know that even though you will lose friends and make members of your family uncomfortable, this is what you have to do to live a life with no regrets where their is no song left in your heart unsung on the day you die.
Do it because you are ready to be finally fully seen for your bright beautiful self and all your fucked up shit.
Do it because you know in showing me your ugliest truths about yourself we will find the most beautiful ones.
Do it because you aren’t afraid to hear an Aspie girl tell you the unadulterated truth about you in a way that scares you to your core. And because you know all the magic happens outside your comfort zone which is right where I send you.
Do it because you know I am going to tell you stuff no neuro-typical person would ever say out loud and that I’ll do that because I love you and I can only see your highest and best in a way no one, has ever, seen, before. (Yup – I put those extra commas there on purpose.)

I can’t promise your success. Run from anyone who makes that promise. The promise I am making is that I will make it almost impossible for you to disappoint yourself, but the results you get are always 100% up to you.
